    Will never look back...

This is my first foray into the magical kingdom of Viseart, after much wondering and anticipation. I chose Violette as the colours looked so beautiful in pictures, and they certainly didn't disappoint in the flesh. They are bright and vibrant but also actually wearable without being garish. I love purples but don't want to look like I'm in the circus. I feel that whoever formulated these shades understands that need and I've happily created several looks that are very pretty and could go anywhere. I have found that these shadows are long-lasting and have little fallout or fading. And didn't stain my eyelids (which I just expected as normal for purples). I love the colours and formulations so much I not only feel the need to buy more (and then some more) but I don't know what I'll do with all the piles of non-Viseart palettes. I struggle to imagine how I will ever go back now I know ...

I love Viseart, but most of the time I am am not as impressed by the palette in my hands as opposed to seeing it reviewed on YouTube. NOT THIS ONE!!! Violette is absolutely stunning, and will most likely be a go-to because I am OBSESSED with purple!! LOL Typical Viseart quality, creamy, rich, all the good stuff!

    Liason's fun older sister

Liason is my all time favorite purple palette so I was thrilled when Violette was announced! While there is some shadow crossover with Liason, Violette stands on its own with a deeper, brighter color story and the addition of duochrome metallics. Purple, especially when cool toned, is a notoriously difficult color to formulate but yet again, Viseart gets it right. The mattes are highly pigmented but buildable and, as always, require little effort when blending. They look on the eye as they do in the pan, don't muddy up and, because they aren't silicone heavy, crease and fade less, even without eye primer. The metallics and duochromes are stunning; intense, high shine and easy to work with although I do recommend applying over glitter glue to reduce fallout. Viseart has shown, yet again, that it is possible to create amazing cool toned purple shadows and I can't recommend this highly enough! **Full disclosure- I received Violette from Viseart for free but I'm under absolutely no obligation to review; I just love it and want to share my thoughts. I probably pestered Anastasia Viseart for another cool toned purple palette so much that she created this and sent it to me just to shut me up :)

Amazing cool tone matts and purple pops!

Great depth and bending ability. The best purple palette I have found. I have even pulled two different neutral without dipping into the purples. Great for traveling because it’s compact.
